February 24, 1959 BIR RULING NO. 113-59 The General Manager Filipinas Coir Products Corporation 1556-1558 Rizal Ave., Extension Caloocan, Rizal S i r : With reference to your letter dated February 4, 1959, I have the honor to inform you that for the manufacture of coir bristles, coir wool and coir dust from coconut husk for the purpose of sale, that corporation is subject to the manufacturer's annual fixed tax of P20.00 and to the 7% sales tax on its sales of said products, the latter to be based on the gross selling price thereof, pursuant to Sections 182(A)(1) and 186, both of the National Internal Revenue Code.
