July 11, 1986 BIR RULING NO. 112-86 165 (a) (3) 00-00 112-86 Gentlemen : In reply to your letter dated April 2, 1986, please be informed that the white quaker oats imported by your client, ASD Marketing to be sold to local distributors is considered processed vegetable; hence, the same is subject to the 10% advanced sales tax, pursuant to Section 162(c) in relation to Section 165(A)(3) of the Tax Code, as amended by P.D.
