August 23, 1962 BIR RULING NO. 094-62 Mr. Francisco V. del Rosario c/o Philippine-American Cultural Foundations, Inc. Ground Floor, Rita Legarda Bldg. Sta. Mesa Blvd., Manila S i r : In reply to your letter dated August 13, 1962, I have the honor to inform you that pursuant to Section 4 of Republic Act No. 3062, all donations, contributions and gift given to the Philippine-American Cultural Foundation, Inc. for the furtherance of its objectives are exempt from the payment of customs duties, import levy, taxes and margin fee, and are fully deductible by the donor for income tax purposes.
