Box 123, Pinaso Road Baguio City S i r : With reference to your letter dated December 27, 1960, I have the honor to inform you that the canning of mushrooms raised in your own farm is exempt from the fixed and percentage taxes on business. (Philippine Packing Corporation vs. Collector of Internal Revenue, G.R. No. L-9040, promulgated December 26, 1956) However, you remain liable to the income and residence taxes.
