Carlos Boncan President Gentlemen : Reference is made to your letter dated July 29, 1965 requesting information as to the kind of taxes payable by your company whose business operation is to salvage and dismantle sunken vessels into scrap iron for resale. In reply thereto, I have the honor to inform you that your company for buying sunken vessels for the purpose of salvaging and dismantling the same into scrap iron for resale is subject to the graduated fixed annual tax (C-13) prescribed by Section 182(A)(2) of the Tax Code. aisadc Very truly yours, (SGD.)
