February 9, 1959 BIR RULING NO. 056-59 The Investment Planning Corporation of the Philippines P.O. Box 381, Manila Gentlemen : In answer to your letter of the 21st ultimo, requesting, for the reasons stated therein, permission to use the so called "Purchase Confirmation/Official Receipts" without the prior approval and registration with this Office. I have the honor to inform you that said request is hereby granted, provided that said receipts pass IBM machines prior to their issuance to your customers. Very truly yours, (SGD.)
