Ebasco Import Manager Gentlemen : In reply to your letter dated January 30, 1981, I have the honor to inform you that "Flavour 1337", a flavoring extract used in the manufacture of Star Margarine, a food product, is subject to 10% advance sales tax based on landed cost thereof plus 25% mark-up, pursuant to Section 193(b) in relation to Section 199 of the Tax Code of 1977. cdtech Very truly yours, RUBEN B.
