Semaa 500 El Hogar Filipino Bldg. 115 Juan Luna, Manila M a d a m : In reply to your letter dated July 16, 1980, please be informed that imported raw materials, parts, or accessories to be used by the local manufacturer of gas and/or electric stoves are subject to the 25% advance sales tax based on the landed cost thereof plus 50% mark-up pursuant to Section 193(b) in relation to Section 197(E), both of the Tax Code, as amended. cdt Very truly yours, ROMULO M.
