February 8, 1960 BIR RULING NO. 032-60 The Chairman Philippine Cancer Society 310 San Rafael, Manila S i r : With reference to your letter dated February 4, 1960, requesting the exemption from the amusement tax of the fashion show that you will sponsor at the Manila Hotel on February 26-27, 1960 for the purpose of raising funds for the construction of an additional wing of the Society's Headquarters Building, I have the honor to inform you that, it appearing that the Society is a duly registered charitable association, your request is hereby granted but only to the extent of 50%, pursuant to section 261 of the Tax Code. liblex Very truly yours, MELECIO R.
