January 13, 1958 BIR RULING NO. 026-58 The Philippine Bank of Commerce Manila Gentlemen : In answer to your letter of even date, requesting permission that your Hasler documentary stamp meter (Serial No. 9598), which is at present out of order, be repaired for you by the OESCO, Inc., I have the honor to inform you that said request is hereby granted, subject to the following conditions: 1. That said meter shall be unlocked and the readings recorded in the record card by our Cashier in the presence of the Auditor General, or his representative; 2. That the repair of said machine shall be made in the presence of an agent of this Office; 3. That the machine, after having been repaired, shall be relocked by the Cashier in the presence of the Auditor General, or his representative, to insure that the readings thereof are the same as those when the same was unlocked.
