March 27, 1979 BIR RULING NO. 015-79 25% Advance sales tax time recorders In reply to your letter dated January 4, 1979, please be informed that the importation by your client, Ever-Rich Office Machine, of Amano's Time Recorders Model 8000 Series is subject to 25% advance sales tax on the total landed cost thereof, plus 50% mark-up, pursuant to Section 193(b), in relation to Section 197. II, both of the Tax Code of 1977, as amended by P.D. No. 1358. cd
