December 23, 1999 BIR RULING [DA-705-99] Mr . Christopher James S . Cutler Office of the Secretary of the Sanggunian Quezon City S i r : This refers to your letter dated November 8, 1999 requesting for a breakdown list of representative amounts of unremitted withholding taxes of Quezon City government employees from 1992 up to the present which, as published in the Philippine Daily Inquirer issue of October 29, 1999, amounted to P103.86 million. In reply, please be informed that your request is hereby granted inasmuch as the same does not violate Section 270 of the Tax Code of 1997.
