June 8, 2000 BIR RULING [DA-258-00] DA-040-2000; DA-258-2000 Mrs. Myrna E. Sobremonte Chief, Accounting Division M a d a m : This refers to the letter of Atty. Artemio C. Salazar of the Tanggapan ng Manananggol Pambayan (Public Defender's Office) dated May 8, 2000 requesting for information as to the present, actual compensation and other earnings of Mr. Henry V. Sy, a BIR employee, the respondent in a claim for support by his client, Ms. Veronica S. Lim in Civil Case No. Q-99-38833, thus the following documents are requested: LibLex 1. Certificate of Mr. Henry V. Sy's present position; 2. Certificate of his gross monthly compensation including the recent salary increases; 3 .Certificate of his monthly deductions; 4. Certificate of other earnings and benefits, if any. In reply, please be informed that this Office has issued a ruling relative to the same subject matter, BIR Ruling DA-040-2000 dated January 20, 2000. However, in order that the Court may ascertain the present financial condition of Mr. Henry V. Sy, you may furnish Ms. Lim a Certification as to Mr. Sy's salary increases.
