President and Executive Director Gentlemen : This refers to your letter dated March 6, 2001 stating that the Nutrition Center of the Philippines, a private, non-stock, non-government organization is presently conducting a survey aimed at gathering information on the wheat flour industry in the country; and that the survey is being done in collaboration with MOST Project-USAID. Based on the foregoing, you now in effect request for a record on the quantity of wheat flour produced per annum to be used in strengthening the formulation of the food fortification program of the Food Fortification Team of the Department of Health. Please be informed that your request is hereby granted inasmuch as the same does not violate Section 270 of the Tax Code of 1997. This will, therefore, serve as an authority for the Assistant Commissioner, Information Systems and Operation Service to furnish you or your duly authorized representative with the aforementioned requested documents upon presentation of your or your authorized representative's identification card/paper.
