Escolta, Manila S i r : This refers to your letter dated September 9, 1969 requesting information as to the rate of sales due on manufactured paper towelette. In reply, I have the honor to inform you that on the basis of the contents and uses of the manufactured towelette, the same is subject to the 7% sales tax imposed in Section 186 of the Tax Code.
