Box 4395, Manila S i r : This refers to your letter dated May 30, 1972 requesting information as to whether the local sales of non-zone enterprise to zone registered enterprise can claim tax credit or may be exempt from tax considering the provisions of Republic Act No. 5490 which exempt all importations of registered zone enterprises from the payment of taxes. In reply, I have the honor to inform you that the local sales by manufacturers of raw materials, parts or accessories to manufacturers, processors or assemblers within the Foreign Trade Zone are subject to the corresponding taxes. cd Very truly yours, MISAEL P.
