Guerrero Gentlemen : In reply to your letters dated June 8, 1970 and June 17, 1970, I have the honor to inform you that imported essential oils to be used by the importer thereof in the manufacture of baby cologne or baby products is subject to an advance sales tax of 7% based on the landed cost thereof plus 25% mark-up pursuant to Section 186 in relation to Section 183(b), both of the Tax Code, as amended.
