Box 3834 Manila S i r : This refers to your letter dated March 7, 1968 requesting information as to the rate of advance sales tax due on your importation of Meteorite Vertical Camera Model MTV and its accessory equipment, Multigraph Exposure Cabinet Model 1485. In reply, I have the honor to inform you that it appearing in the brochures submitted that the imported articles are used in offset and/or letterpress printing processes, the same are subject to the 7% advance sales tax based on the landed cost thereof plus 25% mark-up, pursuant to Section 183(b) in relation to Section 186, both of the Tax Code.
