March 23, 1976 United Insurance Company, Inc. Second Floor Padilla-De Los Reyes Building 232 Juan Luna St., Manila, Philippines Attention: Mr . Emiliano J . Tuazon Secretary-Treasurer Gentlemen : In reply to your letter dated January 9, 1976 and February 17, 1976, I have the honor to inform you that documentary and science stamps on all insurance policies issued by you and on all checks drawn against your current accounts may be affixed to the premium register or requisition slip, respectively, provided that a note properly initiated by a responsible person on the face of the said insurance policies and checks shall be made as follows: "Documentary stamps to the value of P________ have been affixed to the premium register or requisition slip" as the case may be. (Section 203, Regulations No. 26, as amended by Revenue Regulations No. 3-75) As regards the bonds issued by you, the documentary stamps shall be affixed to the said documents, the same being the documents or instruments taxed.
