May 23, 1973 Mr. Jose A. Mendoza 422 J. Rizal, Sta. Elena Marikina, Rizal S i r : This refers to your letter dated May 22, 1973 requesting information as to the amount of penalty to be imposed upon you for failure to register with this Bureau the receipts you issue as owner of an apartment for rent. In reply, I have the honor to inform you that it appearing that your apartment is rented at P70.00 a month or P840.00 year (which is below P10,000.00), you are liable to a compromise penalty of P10.00 for failure to register the receipts with this Bureau prior to the use thereof pursuant to General Circular No. V-236.
