Box 1595 Manila S i r : In reply to your letter dated January 31, 1973 I have the honor to inform you that as a Geodetic Engineer employed in the Bureau of Mines, Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources as Supervising Cartographer you are liable to the occupation tax imposed for surveyors (geodetic engineers) under Section 182(B) of the Tax Code inasmuch as you use or apply your professional knowledge in your work. cdta Very truly yours, (SGD. ) MISAEL P.
