Box No. 65 Manila S i r : In connection with your letter dated May 23, 1973 addressed to the President of the Philippines suggesting imposition of the occupation tax on Chief, Motor Engineers and Second Motor Engineers, please be informed that the same has been forwarded to the Secretary of Finance, for appropriate action inasmuch as the power to levy and collect occupation tax has been transferred from the National Government to the Provincial or City Government pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 231.
