January 30, 1975 2nd Indorsement Returned to the Chief, Agriculture & Natural Resources (Audit) Division, Manila, hereby authorizing the creation of a special team of BIR examiners to look into the books and records of oil companies for the purpose of determining if their petition for increase in the price of gasoline is justified. This Office believes that the proposed examination for the above-stated purpose will not be an encroachment on the powers and prerogatives of the Oil Industry Commission, since the findings of the examiners will be submitted to the Commission if it so desires in order that the petition for price increase may be finally decided. cdti Furthermore, this Office is aware of the fact that a similar team of BIR examiners was formed for the same purpose.
