January 29, 1974 The City Fiscal Manila S i r : With reference to your letter dated January 28, 1974, I have the honor to inform you that the deadline for the submission of the statement of assets, liabilities and net worth as of December 31, 1973, which is required of every public officer by Republic Act No. 3019, otherwise known as the Anti-Graft Law, is September 30, 1974, instead of the due date provided for in the aforesaid law. However, subsequent statements shall be filed in accordance with the provisions of said law. (See Section 2 of Presidential Decree No. 379) It is emphasized in this connection that all public officers should file the statement of assets and liabilities required by Republic Act No. 3019, irrespective of the gross value of their assets. In other words, the exemption in subsection (a) of Section 3 of Presidential Decree No. 379 does not apply to the statement required by Republic Act No. 3019. aisa dc Very truly yours, MISAEL P.
