May 27, 1976 Association of Marine Officers of Negros Occidental (AMONOC),Inc. Puno Banago, Bacolod City Attention: Mr . Arturo A . Soldevilla President Gentlemen : In connection with your request for exemption from the payment of income tax as well as the filing of income tax return under Section 27(A) of the Tax Code, please furnish this Office with the following: 1. Copy of the Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws; 2. Affidavit showing the character of the Association, the purpose for which it was organized, its actual activities, the sources of its income, and its disposition, whether or not any of its income is credited to surplus or inures or may inure to the benefit of any private stockholder or individual and in general, all facts relating to its exemptions. 3. Latest financial statements showing the assets, liabilities, receipts and disbursements of the Association. Unless the aforementioned requirements are complied with, no definite ruling can be issued by this Office on your aforesaid request. Very truly yours, BERNARDO D.
