October 6, 1970 Mr. J. Plaridel Silvestre Regional Executive Commissioner Boy Scouts World Bureau Far East Region Office Box 1378, Manila S i r : In reply to your letter dated September 11, 1970, I have the honor to inform you that your request is hereby granted. The Boy Scouts of the Philippines, being a body corporate and politic in deed and law, is exempt from the payment of all internal revenue taxes. Such being the case, the members of the Boy Scouts World Bureau are exempt from the documentary and science stamp taxes for purposes of tax clearance certificates. Very truly yours, MISAEL P.
