De la Cruz Attorney-at-Law & Notary Public No. 64 Saluysoy, Meycauayan Bulacan, ZIP D-212 S i r : This refers to your letter dated March 25, 1972 requesting information on the tax due on one Ford Station Wagon, custom 500, white and 8 cyl. bought by one Jose Formento from the United States. In reply, I have the honor to inform you that the said Ford Station Wagon is subject to the compensating tax at the rate of 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% depending on the landed cost thereof pursuant to Section 190, in relation to Section 184(a), both of the Tax Code, as amended.
