Chan Gentlemen : This refers to your letter dated December 23, 1977 requesting that the importation of your client, Muller & Phipps Manufacturing Corporation, Mandaluyong, Metro Manila of one hundred (100) kilograms of mixed essential oil under Airway Bill No. 618-2070670 c and Invoice No. PM 6402 which will be used by your client in the manufacture of "Body Mist", a talcum powder, be released from customs custody upon payment of the 7% advance sales tax. In reply, I have the honor to inform you that your request is hereby granted it appearing that your client has filed a bond with this Office in an amount equivalent to 63%, (the difference between the 70% advance sales tax and the 7% advance sales tax payable upon release from customs custody).
