Box 775 Manila Gentlemen : This refers to the letter to that column of Oscar David of Masbate, Masbate, requesting information whether as a sidewalk vendor, he is subject to the fixed tax imposed in Section 182 of the Tax Code and whether he is obliged to keep books of accounts. cdt In reply, I have the honor to inform you that if his monthly sales do not exceed P200.00, he is exempted from the payment of the fixed tax pursuant to Sections 182(C)(1) of the Tax Code.
