Director of Administration Gentlemen : This refers to your letter dated September 11, 1967 requesting for the reconsideration of the conditions stated in our letter to you dated July 27, 1967 relative to the procurement of tax-free gasoline for the Bank's officials. You further request that a procedure similar to that applicable to diplomatic missions be adopted and availed of by the Bank. prll In reply, I have the honor to inform you that your request to avail of a similar procedure to that applicable to diplomatic missions is hereby granted. However, the following procedure should be observed in the procurement of tax-free gasoline. Only one service station should be selected by the Bank from where to purchase tax-free petroleum products. The purchase invoice should indicate the name of the Bank official being serviced, his car's plate number, the date of the purchase, quantity of the petroleum products purchased, and the same should be legibly signed by the purchaser and the seller. At the end of every month, the gasoline station selected should forward to this Office a statement showing the total quantity of petroleum products purchased by all authorized Bank officials, together with a copy of the invoices evidencing the purchases made by the Bank. After processing the papers, an authority to replace the gasoline purchased by the Bank with tax-free gasoline may be made. The name of the oil company and the service station selected by the Bank should be forwarded to this Office so that appropriate arrangement may be made to implement the foregoing procedure. cdll Very truly yours, (SGD.)
