Certified Public Accountants 1130 Perez St., Paco Manila Gentlemen : In reply to your letter dated February 28, 1973, I have the honor to inform you that the importations of your client, Philippine Flour Mills of wheat grains to be used in the manufacture of wheat flour are subject to the 5% advance sales tax based on the landed cost thereof plus 25% mark-up pursuant to Section 183(b) in relation to Section 186-B, both of the Tax Code, as amended by Presidential Decree No. 69. cdtech Very truly yours, (SGD.)
