May 16, 1973 Mr. Federico C. Manguiat 24-A Maria Clara Street San Pablo City S i r : This refers to your letter dated November 14, 1972 to the President of the Philippines, which was referred to this Office for appropriate action, on your suggestions and recommendation to improve the system and manner of assessing and collecting internal revenue taxes and at the same time eliminate graft and corruption among its collecting agencies, and amending some sections of the Tax Code, with the aim in view of inducing every citizen to be concerned of their box obligations to the government under the New Society. In this connection, please be informed that your suggestions and recommendations are being studied for possible adoption by this Bureau.
