April 12, 1973 Mr. Simeon Villa c/o Village Printing Press 714 Jose Rizal Avenue Makati, Rizal S i r : In reply to your letter dated February 25, 1973, I have the honor to inform you that the pension, which you are receiving for previous service rendered the United States Government is subject to income tax, considering that there is no law declaring such pension exempt from Philippine income tax.
