Jose Limsico Gentlemen : This refers to your letter dated February 27, 1973 requesting information as to the rate of advance sales tax applicable to your shipment of 50 rolls Fiberglass membrane. In reply, I have the honor to inform you that your shipment of 50 rolls of fiberglass membrane for use as reinforcement for concrete roof waterproofing is subject to the 7% advance sales tax based on the landed cost thereof plus 25% mark-up pursuant to Section 183(b) in relation to Section 186, both of the Tax Code. aisa dc Very truly yours, (SGD.)
