November 8, 1967 The Metropolitan Broadcasting Co. Radio Center, Taft Ave. Manila Gentlemen : This refers to your letter of even date requesting information as to the rate of compensating tax due on your importation of Image Orthicon Tubes to be used exclusively on your TV cameras. In reply, I have the honor to inform you that inasmuch as the imported articles are exclusively used for television cameras and cannot be used in the taking of photographs or motion picture, the same are subject to only 7% compensating tax pursuant to Section 190 in relation to Section 186, both of the Tax Code.
