December 8, 1972 The General Manager Associated Trading Corporation 557 Rosario, Manila S i r : This refers to your letter dated December 6, 1972 requesting information as to the proper rate of advance sales tax imposable on your importation of harmonicas, particularly Harmonica No. 533/20 which contain 10 holes and 20 reeds. In reply, I have the honor to inform you that all of your importation of harmonicas covered by Matth-Hohner AG. Invoice No. 52286, including No. 533/20, is subject to 7% advance sales tax based on the landed cost thereof plus 25% mark-up pursuant to Section 186 of the Tax Code. cdti Very truly yours, MISAEL P.
