Feir Bureau of Coast and Geodetic Survey Department of National Defense Quezon City S i r : In reply to your letter dated January 11, 1972, I have the honor to inform you that as a registered Assistant Electrical Engineer, who is employed as a Commissioned Officer in the Bureau of Coast and Geodetic Survey, Department of National Defense, performing different duties not related to the practice of your profession you are not subject to the payment of the occupation tax prescribed in Section 182(B) of the Tax Code.
