March 25, 1969 Mr. Godofredo P. Neric National Scout Executive Boy Scouts of the Philippines P.O. Box No. 1378 Manila S i r : In reply to your letter dated March 21, 1969, I have the honor to inform you that the exemptions specified in our letter dated April 13, 1951 still stands. The Boy Scouts of the Philippines being a body corporate and politic in deed and law, is exempt from the payment of all internal revenue business and occupation taxes. (Opinion of the Secretary of Finance, No. 153, s. 1948) This will serve as authority for the release from the customs of the articles imported by the Boy Scouts of the Philippines.
