December 21, 1970 The Ambassador of Pakistan Embassy of Pakistan Manila S i r : This refers to your letter dated August 27, 1970 requesting that the proceeds from the Pakistani film show which that Embassy, in collaboration with the Philippines Pakistani Friendship Association, intends to hold for the benefit of the East Pakistan flood victims be exempted from the payment of the amusement and income taxes. In reply, I have the honor to inform you that since the show is, in effect, being held by a foreign government which is tax exempt, your request for exemption from the payment of the aforesaid taxes is hereby granted. cdti Very truly yours, MISAEL P.
