May 21, 1970 Mr. Alfredo Primero Marawi City S i r : This refers to your telegram-inquiry. In reply, I have the honor to inform you that any and all allowances received by so-called volunteers of foreign organizations including salaries or any other emoluments they received from their respective organizations even if payable abroad constitute income from sources in the Philippines and, therefore, subject to Philippine income tax. aisa dc Very truly yours, MISAEL P.
