Soria Collection Branch Revenue Region No. 6 Quezon City S i r : This has reference to your letter dated January 22, 1969 requesting permission to act as counsel for and in your behalf as the respondent First Vice President of the Bar Association, Inc. In a complaint for Quo Warranto, Prohibition and Injunction (Civil Case No. C-12695) and other cases relative thereto pending in the Court of First Instance of Quezon City. In reply, you are informed that your request is hereby granted subject to the following conditions: 1. That this permission granted you is limited only to your appearance as counsel for and in your behalf as the respondent First Vice President of the Bar Association, Inc.; 2. That you shall not accept attorney's fees; 3. That during the dates of hearing of the aforesaid case and other cases relative thereto, you must file your leave of absence; and 4. That you shall see to it that your handling of said cases is not prejudicial to the best interest of the service in the Bureau of Internal Revenue. The imposition of the above conditions is necessary so that your appearance will not be considered an active private practice of the law profession. Very truly yours, MISAEL P.
