April 8, 2010 BIR MEMORANDUM TO : All Regional Directors and Others Concerned SUBJECT : RMO No. 38-2009 re: Adoption of the Revised Policies on the Settlement of Grievance in the Bureau of Internal Revenue This has reference to RMO No. 38-2009 dated December 4, 2009 re: Adoption of the Revised Policies on the Settlement of Grievance in the Bureau of Internal Revenue. In order to expedite the settlement of all grievances in the Bureau, you are hereby reminded to strictly adhere to the grievance procedures as stated hereunder: VI. Grievance Procedures The procedures for seeking redress of grievances shall be as follows: 1. Discussion with immediate supervisor. 2. Appeal to the Higher Supervisor. 3. Appeal to the National/Regional Grievance Committee. 4. Appeal to Management Committee (MANCOM). 5. Appeal to the Civil Service Commission Field/Regional Office. IESAac Please be guided accordingly.
