No Leave of Absence shall be Authorized Throughout the Tax Filing Season

March 26, 2007 BIR MEMORANDUM TO : All Deputy Commissioners All Assistant Commissioners All Regional Directors and Assistant Directors All Revenue District Officers and Asst. Revenue District Officers HREAs, Large Taxpayers Service (Regular & Excise) Chiefs and Assistant Division Chiefs of LTDOs All Other Revenue Officials and Personnel The exigencies of the revenue service so requiring, no leave of absence shall be authorized within the Bureau throughout the tax filing season, specifically for the period April 02 to 16, 2007, to ensure that our tax collection efforts are not interrupted simply due to absences of officials and personnel. In line therewith, everyone is enjoined to give his/her utmost cooperation and service during the aforesaid period to ensure the smooth flow of work within the Bureau, and to ensure that queries or concerns of the taxpayers are immediately addressed, to the end that the process of filing of returns and payment of taxes could be made most convenient for the taxpayers.
