Extension of Deadline for Payment of the Annual Registration Fee Through Mobile Payment (M-Payment) System

January 27, 2006 BIR MEMORANDUM TO : All Deputy Commissioners All Assistant Commissioners All Regional Directors All RDC Heads All Revenue District Officers All Division Chiefs All Internal Revenue Officers and Others Concerned SUBJECT : Extension of Deadline for Payment of the Annual Registration Fee Through Mobile Payment (M-Payment) System The Bureau adopted M-Payment System as an additional mode of payment to partially address present issues and problems in the collection of internal revenue taxes through the AABs. The telecommunications company acts as the agent of the taxpayer in paying the tax through an accredited agent bank. In order to give business taxpayers a better chance to pay their annual registration fee, the deadline for renewal of registration when paid using M-Payment is hereby extended up to February 3, 2006. Please be guided by RMO 20-2005 for guidelines and procedures on using the system. All revenuers are hereby enjoined to give this issuance as much publicity as possible. (SGD.) JOSE MARIO C.
