September 26, 2016 BANK BULLETIN NO. 27-16 TO : All BIR Authorized Agent Banks SUBJECT : Barclays Bank PLC Philippines Representative Office Cessation of Business Operations Effective immediately, all Authorized Agent Banks are hereby advised not to accept BARCLAYS BANK PLC Philippines Representative Office checks, as well as taxpayers' checks drawn from the said Bank, in payment of internal revenue taxes. This advisory is in view of the letter from Mr. Nestor A. Espenilla, Jr., Deputy Governor, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas ( BSP ) dated August 23, 2016 informing the Bureau of Internal Revenue of the cessation of business operations of BARCLAYS BANK PLC Philippines Representative Office with office address at 28F Regus Center Tower 2, The Enterprise Center, 6766 Ayala Avenue corner Paseo de Roxas 1226 Makati City under Monetary Board Resolution No. 1444 dated August 12, 2016.
