December 12, 2014 BANK BULLETIN NO. 24-14 TO : All BIR Authorized Agent Banks SUBJECT : Synergy Rural Bank, Inc. Effective immediately, all Authorized Agent Banks are hereby advised not to accept SYNERGY RURAL BANK, INC. checks, as well as taxpayers' checks drawn from the said Bank, in payment of internal revenue taxes. This advisory is in view of the letter of the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) dated November 7, 2014 informing the Bureau of Internal Revenue of the issuance of Monetary Board Resolution No. 1753.A dated November 6, 2014 which prohibited SYNERGY RURAL BANK, INC. with Office Address at No. 5 Kap. Simeon Luz St., Brgy. 4, Lipa City, Batangas from business in the Philippines and placed the same under receivership with the PDIC as the designated Receiver.
