CAIHTE In this regard, all AABs are hereby instructed to accept the attachments to the filed AITRs and follow the existing procedures on the processing of tax payments and the returns received. Likewise, AABs are reminded on the following: 1. To accept originally signed printed copies of electronically-filed AITRs or computer-generated/photocopies of BIR official AITR, originally filled out and signed by the taxpayer or his/her/its duly authorized representative; 2. To accept tax payments without the need to present the TIN card or any identification card showing the TIN; and 3. To accept first installment payments of taxpayers, other than corporations, who elected to pay the tax due in two (2) equal installments. Provided, however, that the tax due is in excess of Two Thousand Pesos (P2,000.00). The second installment shall be paid on or before October 15 following the close of the applicable year.
