Prescribed Batch Control Sheet (BCS) No. and the Use of Proper RDO Codes in Reporting of BCS and Consolidated Report of Daily Collections (CRDC)

September 7, 2022 BANK BULLETIN NO. 2022-19 TO : All BIR Authorized Agent Banks SUBJECT : Prescribed Batch Control Sheet (BCS) No. and the Use of Proper Revenue District Office (RDO) Codes in Reporting of BCS and Consolidated Report of Daily Collections (CRDC) This has reference to the significant number of transmitted BCS that were rejected by the BIR System due to incorrect assignment of BCS-A No. and to the sources of reconciling items in the reconciliation of collection per BCS and CRDC due to incorrect use of RDO Code particularly for split/merged RDOs in reporting BCS-A which result to non-uploading of the same. Relative to the aforementioned, all AABs are hereby advised to strictly follow the use of the prescribed numeric formats in encoding BCS Number " BCS-A No. 00000 ." Likewise, AABs are reminded to initialized the assignment of BCS-A No., which will start from one (1), at the beginning of each year ( e.g. , BCS-A No. 00001 ). Further, all AABs are also reminded to ensure that the RDO code assigned to the AAB branch is correctly indicated in the Limited Bank Data Entry System (LBDES)/AAB System particularly the split/merged RDO Codes to avoid non-uploading of BCS-A.
