May 11, 2022 BANK BULLETIN NO. 2022-14 TO : All BIR Authorized Agent Banks SUBJECT : Acceptance of Certain Tax Returns/Payments of Internal Revenue Taxes Due to the Unavailability of the Bureau's Electronic Filing and Payment System (eFPS) In view of the unavailability of the Electronic Filing and Payment System (eFPS) due to system maintenance from 5:00 P.M. of May 12, 2022 until 6:00 A.M. of May 17, 2022, taxpayers enrolled in eFPS are advised to file the returns manually and pay the corresponding taxes due thereon with Authorized Agent Banks (AABs) notwithstanding the Revenue District Office jurisdiction. In this regard, all AABs are hereby advised to accept the out-of-district returns, and the corresponding payment of the taxes due thereon from taxpayers enrolled in the eFPS without the corresponding penalties for wrong venue payment of taxes from May 13, 2022 to May 16, 2022 . The existing procedures in the processing of out-of-district returns and payment of taxes shall be followed. For your guidance and strict compliance. CAESAR R.
