December 20, 2021 BANK BULLETIN NO. 2021-25 TO : All BIR Authorized Agent Banks SUBJECT : Acceptance of Tax Returns and Payments from Taxpayers under the Areas Affected by Typhoon Odette In view of the typhoon "Odette" that devastated areas under Mimaropa (Mindoro Oriental, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan); Eastern, Central and Western Visayas; Northern Mindanao; and Caraga, which also affected operations of the Authorized Agent Banks, all AABs within the said areas are hereby advised to accept all tax returns as well as payments of taxes due from the taxpayers, even out-of-district returns, without the corresponding penalties. The tax deadlines falling for the period from December 20 to 31, 2021 may be accepted within thirty (30) days from the tax due date. 1. The following procedures shall be observed in the receipt of tax returns and tax payments from the above taxpayers: a. Stamp the words "Out-of-District" on the face of the return; b. Batch all out-of-district returns received in accordance with the existing revenue issuances, and prepare the corresponding Batch Control Sheet (BCS)-A for pick up by the representative of the Revenue District Office having jurisdiction over the collecting bank or by the representative of the Regional Data Processing Division (DPD). c. Indicate the RDO Number of the accepting Bank Branch in the required field of the Limited Bank Data Entry System/Bank System and NOT the RDO Number of the taxpayers.
